Sounds like the laser pickup unit to the DVD player is faulty. Contact any service technician to replace it. The disc mechanism should be taken out of it to replace this part.

Hello
As you feel DVD is woking, that is spinning inside, and there is no picture at all, the fault will be with its defective Laser Pickup Unit. It is a common fault , that this unit bcome damaged. No special rason can be pointed out for that. Just put a cleaning disc into the player, and play it for two or three times. If the fault is due to dust or dirt accumulation to its pick up lens, it will be alright after this procedure. If it does not help, there is no other way than replacing the Laser Picup Unit, with same type and number. OK.
Look for a small hole on the door of the DVD player. Get a paper clip, unbend it and slowly push it into the hole, apply some pressure and the door should pop open.
Disconnect cable from DVD to TV, press play, and then press stop, try to push eject button to get the disk out. If all could not have, you have to open the DVD cover then get the disk out.
If you can find a piece of stiff wire, put a small 90 degree bend onto one end and try to hook the edge or middle of the DVD drawer and pull out the drawer. It will resist a bit but should come out.
