Question about Akai LCT3201AD 32 in. LCD Television

DVD stuck in DVD palyer

My daughter put a DVD in the DVD player in the TV and it will not release

same issue here. I called Akai and they said to unplug the unit for 30 minutes to reset. Then plug in and try to eject. If that does not work, then the unit needs to be sent in for service. Trying to remove it yourself by openeing the back of the player will void the warranty.

Look for a small pinhole near eject to put a paper clip in and push to eject.
if it doesn't have a hole then you have to have it serviced.

I am sure that your cables are connected correctly. If they are your TV and DVD/VCR palyer has to be on the same function. i.e. aux on the newer TV's or channel 2 or 1 on the older models. THis is a easy fix and this will start you on the right track.

Cant eject DVD's

Unplug the player and leave it off for an hour then plug it and press EJECT or OPEN/CLOSE continously until it releases the disk.

akai lct 2701 sound does not work my tv's sound died. There used to be a high pitched sound when turning the tv on. Then the sound would go off. To get the sound back on I would change the sound settings, then I'd have to change the picture brightness to a dark setting, finally when those 2 methods didn't work I'd have to unplug & reset the tv. Now none of these methods work. Is there a sound card or something that is easily replaced?
