I have the same problem ... I am unable to connect my iphone 3gs to the Parrot CK3000 Evolution. My iphone recognizes the Parrot device and it says ''NOT PAIRED''. Tried many times ... tried restarting my iphone ... no luck... Does anyone have any sort of fix for this or something that can be done to get it working. Also does anyone else have a similar problem ....
P.S. I have been able to connect both iphone 2g and 3g with no problems... they were connected before the iphone 3.0 software release and continue to work fine after upgrading ..
You need to reset the Parrot first.
Hold down red and green buttons together until she tells you that the
memory is being cleared. Then she will prompt you to pair your phone.
Then, and only then does the Parrot allow the iPhone to pair, and it will bring up the code prompt for you on the iPhone.
You won't find this written down anywhere on the Parrot site.
There isn't really a single solution to this; the iPhone can be a little persnickity to pair. Things go consider:
Make sure that there are no other bluetooth objects in range, especially devices that have been previously paired with your iPhone.
Also, try resetting the Parrot back to manufacturer specifications; there is usually a pinhole on the back of the unit that allows this to be done.
Delete all previous contacts on parrot. Then it will work. Tried pressing red and green and nothing. But previous comment put me on path and it is simply delete all previous contacts to bluetooth to on parrot
