Bad smell in washing machine...clothes smell bad after wash

hi there is a build up of lime and old dirt in the inside of your drum the best thing to get rid of the smell is put a very small amount of bleach in the drum and put your machine on a very hot wash it will help in your hand book it will tell you to use your hot wash with a bit of powder and no cloths at leased once a month i dont know if you use your hottest wash most people dont these days because of the low temp powders, also the best product to use is lim away but you can only get it on usa bases or from the usa you might find someone on line that sells it that will get rid of all the lime thats been built up in your machine if you cant just use a bit of thick bleach hope this was helpful

Strong mildew smell in washer is making cloths & towels smell bad, how do you get rid of the problem?

if you look inside washer there is a rubber rim on the inside around the openning. Look inside and you will find where the stink is coming from. Keep door open when not in use and wipe inside of rubber trim to keep the mildew out.

I use tilex sometimes and do a rinse spin.

I have a Renault 225 sport cup. The problem I have is with the water bottle for the washers. This has been smelling really badly for some weeks and when I spray the windscreen the smell inside the car is...

Are you sure the smell comes from the washer water and not the air conditioner? If the washer water smells you will smell it strongest on the windscreen on the outside of the car. Check this to be sure you have located the source of the smell.

Commonly smells inside the car come from the air conditioner because there is mould growing on the air filters. These can be taken out and cleaned to get rid of the smell. Look in your user manual for guidance on how to do it.

The clothes smell if left in the washer wet overnight

Wet clothes should not be left in the washer over night as mold will develop and cause a moldy odor. You could run the load through a rinse cycle with fabric softener or baking soda to get rid of the odors.
