You sure it needs a cd? Reason i am asking is because this is a server computer, and they usually boot on whatever they are setup to boot on. IE cd. If your not sure go into the setup side of it and make sure it is set to boot off drive 0 or hard drive. This is not a desktop computer that will search for the the drive. Servers don't usually search for a boot drive, you tell them where and what to boot, and they go from there. If this is confusing to you let me know and i will;l try to un-confuse it.

Select safe mode to start your computer in safe mode.

Navigate to the Windows temporary folder. The default location of this folder is C:/Windows/Temp, C:/DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS/ProfileName/LOCAL SETTINGS/Temp, or C:/Users/ProfileName/AppData/Local/Temp, although it could have been set to another location entirely. In all cases, it can be located by typing "cd %temp%" into the command line. 26319210-bxzhjmonsmllydp0qa2riq2g-2-9.jpg

Delete the following files. dfrgr dfrg WindowsUpdate.exe tmp2.tmp 26319210-bxzhjmonsmllydp0qa2riq2g-2-14.jpg

While still in the temp directory, look for three files that have seemingly random file names (With no extension), (with .exe extension) & (With .dll extension).Delete all three of these.

Remove registry entries associated with the virus. Type "regedit" from the command line to start the windows registry editor. Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run, and delete two entries involving the same random characters found in the previous step. 26319210-bxzhjmonsmllydp0qa2riq2g-2-27.jpg
Remove "Smart HDD," "Smart HDD.lnk," and "Uninstall Smart HDD.lnk" from the start menu. Then delete "Smart HDD.lnk" from the desktop.
26319210-bxzhjmonsmllydp0qa2riq2g-2-35.jpg Reboot the computer in regular mode. The virus should be removed. 26319210-bxzhjmonsmllydp0qa2riq2g-2-44.jpg

Logitech setpoint broken on Windows 7 64 bit

Sometimes the smart installer, which is the default download on logitech's site and probably what was included on the driver cd, is corrupt and you need to use the dedicated 64 bit installer for setpoint.
Try this download to fix your problem: http://www.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/mouse/setpoint620_x64.exe
Hope this helps, Robert

I dont know how to install the firmware for my mp4 i really need help

Hello,

Do you have the CD for the SMPK8858 ?

Then put the CD into the CD drive or DVD drive of your computer and explore the CD, for the firmware update look under:
\Firmware Upgrade tool\ConsumerUpdate 3.1.2.0\setup.exe
1. explore or double click folder Firmware Upgrade tool
2. explore or double click folder ConsumerUpdate 3.1.2.0
3. run or double click file setup.exe: this will start the installation of the update software on your computer.

After the installation of the setup.exe file, run the firmware update program to start the update for your player.

Most Sylvania players will have a CD provided. When you don't have it, download the driver (a zip file) from Curtis:
http://www.curtisint.com/html/CustService/Manuals/SYL_SMPK8858_DRIVER.ZIP
After the download unzip the file with WinZip or WinRar:
now look for the firmware installation program under
SYL_SMPK8858_DRIVER \ SMPK8858 \ Firmware Upgrade tool\ConsumerUpdate 3.1.2.0 \ setup.exe
Double click the setup.exe, the same procedure as when using the CD.

There is also a manual for SPMK8858 (a pdf file) online:
http://www.curtisint.com/html/CustService/Manuals/SYL_SMPK8858_EN.PDF

I need to know how to install the software for my usb smart card reader

If you are running XP or Vista, just plug the reader into the USB slot and the system will automatically load a driver. If it doesn't, put the CD that came with the reader in the CD drive and run the exe file and follow instructions. You may have to install the software first or plug in the reader first. Manufacturers vary on the order of install.

How do I burn a CD with my pictures, then show them on my computer? Can and how do I delete the pictures on the computer?

Your question was not quite clear "then show them on my computer"

1.) You can use a third program software like nero.
To use nero, you have to "purchase" it first, then install nero, then open "Nero burning ROM" application usually either under
"program files\Ahead\Nero\Nero Burning Rom\nero.exe"
or
Program Files\Nero\...\Nero Burning Rom\Nero.exe

Select the option CD-ROM Iso, then select multi session(if you want to add pictures later) or no multisession (if you dont want to add pictures later)::: For example, your CD takes abour 700MB of data, but you only have 10 pictures @ 30MB or so then you most likely to use multisession.::: Then click on the "new" button to start compiling your cd.

Then you can add your files into your compilation. You can give your CD a name by either double clicking on the little disk icon to your right in the first nero and changing the name OR by selecting "File" from the menu, then selecting the "Compilation properties" option, then click on the "Label" tab, and change your cd's name there.

All you have to do now, after you have given your cd a name and added files to the compilation is to find and click on the "burn" icon located in the nero bar below the "file, edit, new menus".

2.)If you have installed nero, you can also use Nero smart start 2 complile your CD. Benefis: Much quicker and easier to use.
