Does the moniter have internal speakers? If so then there is a volume controller option on the moniter or else you have to use external speakers.

My monitor hp w2207 works, but a few minutes later the screen is turnning off, whe I press the power switch off and on the screen returns, back and forward the monitor does

Sounds like the power converter to the LCD. Need to get it repaired or buy a new monitor (which will most likely be cheaper). If this monitor has a "brick" between the plug and monitor, that may be the culprit as well. Those are probably pretty inexpensive.

How can I get sound again on my computer and monitor

When this happened to me, I went to Walmart, bought a $12.00 pair of speakers, plugged them into my tower, great sound, small speakers, no more problem.

How do i get the sound to work on my HPw2207 monitor? Are there built in speakers?

HP w2207 has built-in speakers (Integrated rear facing). All you have to do is connect the LCD and PC (Sound output) using Audio Cable (Stereo).

No Sound from speakers, HP 2009m/v/f

Try using MP3 player or audio sources (cd) to feed the monitor to see if you get the sound OK to narrow down the problem to either Monitor or PC sound problem.

No sound from integrated speakers

You will need to check the cable connections in teh rear of the screen. Atypically there is a separate cord that will need to be connected between the screen and the "sound out" connector on the back of the computer.

My volume menu from monitor pops up, volume auto-decreases

Was something spilled on the volume key? Sounds like it is stuck... you can use a fine toothpick and plain water to "scrub" around the key, there may be some buildup that inhitbits the key from "unpressing".

Hope this helps!

I can not hear sound out of my HP w2207h Monitor and I need to know is there a certain cord I should be using?? This monitor is supposed to have built in speakers?

The monitor may have an internal speaker but it would need to be connected toyour sound card to work. All necessary cables should've been supplied.
