Swipe right to open charms menu, then click on Update and Recovery, then Recovery, then choose "Refresh you PC without affecting your files".
Good luck.

How to add Netflix app to surface 2 tablet

If you have a Surface RT you can only go through the Windows Store and search for "Netflix", then install it. You can also always just to go www.netflix.com from your device and log in to enjoy your Netflix.
If you don't have the RT version, you can just download the Netflix application from www.netflix.com and run it to install.
Happy Netflixing!

How do i get my RT to boot

Here are the steps to go back I factory setup. It will remove everything personal you have on the Surface - photos, docs, etc. They will still be in the Share drive if you utilized it for storage.
  1. Restart the device made for Surface.
  2. Press F8 during the initial BIOS post to bring up the Advanced Boot Options screen.
  3. On the Advanced boot options screen, use the arrow keys to highlight Repair your computer, and then press Enter.
  4. Select a keyboard layout, and then click Next.
  5. Type the user name and password of an administrator, and then click OK.
  6. Under System Recovery Options, select Reinstall Windows. This option will restore Surface to the factory image, and any customized user information will be lost.
  7. When the restoration of the factory image is complete, the device made for Surface will restart, and the setup process will begin. This process is identical to the first time you set up Surface; you will be guided by a series of prompts and dialog boxes.
One more note - if you deleted the restore folder to save drive space this will not work. You'll need to take to tech support.
Good luck.

Is there a way I can get my surface 2 to recognise the ANT pen drive for my Garmin Vivofit.

I assume it's not a surface PRO 2 but just a regular Surface 2. The surface 2 runs Windows RT which only runs specials apps designed for it. It can't run software that is made for regular Windows computers. Unless garmin creates specific software for Windows RT I'm afraid that it might never work.

You can attempt the software found here: http://download.garmin.com/omt/express/B/GarminExpressInstaller.exe but I doubt it works.

What you're trying to do it akin to runnign iPad apps on a Mac, it doesn't work before the architecture is different.
