Hi, I have D-link DI 524 Router. When I use Quick Router Setup after checking by program Network adapter, which passed (it's enabled), checking Internet connection was not verified (error: 103) I don't know why this thing happened because I have Internet connection, but something is incorrect because when I tried to forward some ports, my router was not recognizing properly.

Hi, I have not tried it myself with DLink but with LinkSys, yes it will work. It may take a little configuration tinkering but should work. However a few notes: 1. You should only have 1 DHCP server (both have this feature); 2. You can not have 2 identical IP address; 3. I suggest you make the 524 as the gateway and the 704 as a slave; 4. In effect you will connect 1 of the LAN port of the 524 to the WAN input of the 704; 5. You have to copy the WAN settings of the 704 to the WAN settings of the 524; 6. Or if you want to retain the 704 as the gateway, disable the identical features in the 524. I suggest you treat the 524 as a client of the 704. Hope this gives you some idea and work out for you as it did with my LinkSys. Goodluck and kind regards.

You have interference...go into router and override the channel selection from auto to a different channel. The band is limited by the FCC and most manufacturers tend to default to the same channel (frequency). Dont confuse this with band...ex. G, N, B, A You want the actual frequency to change. Good luck

You need to disable the DHCP server on your "slave" wireless router ( the di-524 ). In D-link routers this might be called configuring it to be an "Access point".
When this happens, connecting to the second wireless router should cause your computer to obtain an IP address which is in the range of the first router (that is to say, it will use the first router's dhcp server).
You should be able have your laptop connect with an automatic IP address and have it work.

Make sure you can go online directly to the airtel broadband. If internet works fine, connect the D-Link router to the Beetle. That should be going to the Internet port or WAN port of the D-link. Then your PC to port 1. Try to power cycle both devices now. Unplug the power to the router first then to the modem. Wait for 30 seconds. Power on modem first, wait for the lights to go solid, then power on the router. Check if the internet works fine hardwired. If it is, wireless should work as well. Just connect to the signal coming from the D-link.

Do you need to see the desktop or just share folders from each other? If the latter then you need to do the following:
Use Windows Explorer and select a folder you want to share. Right click and select sharing and security.
On the sharing tab click on Share this folder. Enter a share name ( I like to enter the PC name _folder name; Rick1_Downloads)
Click on Permissions. If your ok with everyone using the PC's and Laptops having access then highlight Everyone and click on Full Control.
Do this on each PC and Laptop.
That should be it or darned near close.
