Cursor moves left when typing in internet explorer

I am typing backwards on my Dell Studio while in Internet Explorer. The cursor moves to the left on it?s own. I typed this just fine in Word Processor then cut and pasted here. I also can type fine in the address bar. Please help.

Thanks, but I have tried that and it doesn?t fix the problem. I went so far as to do a system restore but to no avail. I also noticed that my cursor is flashing too.

Cant open internet options

How to Open Internet Options
Each browser has a way to customize it, and you do it using Internet Options. With Internet Options, you can specify your privacy settings, security and your home page with a few clicks of your mouse. Knowing how to open Internet options is essential to preventing hackers from accessing your computer or keeping people from viewing your Internet history. Opening the window in Firefox, Internet Explorer, or with your computer's control panel is not a difficult task.
Instructions
Firefox
1 Launch the Firefox browser.
2 Go to the toolbar at the top of the browser and select "Tools."
3 Move the mouse pointer down the tool menu until you get to "Options." Click on that word. Your Firefox Internet Options will immediately open.

Internet Explorer
1 Launch the Internet Explorer browser.
2 Click on the "Tools" menu located on the tool bar, at the top of the browser.
3 Move the mouse cursor down that menu until you get to "Internet Options." Left click on those words. Your Internet Options window will immediately open.

Computer Control Panel
1 Go to the Start Menu.
2 Click on the "Control Panel."
3 Click "Network Internet Options." Then, Click "Internet Options." You will be able to change Internet Explorer options, but not those of other browsers such as Firefox or Google Chrome

Explorer will not open, it either freezes and does not respond or it crashes.

Is this Internet Explorer or File Explorer? If its Internet Explorer then try this:

Goto Start > Run
in the Run box type 'explorer' without the quotes
in the address bar of explorer type in the website address you are trying to go to.

If that works then you need to uninstall and reinstall Internet Explorer or better yet uninstal IE and install FireFox.

I have a dell laptop studio and have always had my homepage as msn.com---now when i click on internet explorer it says that link is broken? any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi,

If you are using Internet Explorer then follow the instruction bellow to rectify it.

Open Internet Explorer and click on the Tools tab on the top right hand side, then click on Internet options.
In the general tab you see what your home page should be. Highlight the web address and then type in http://www.msn.com. Click on Apply and then OK.

To see if it's worked all you have to do click on the home button at the top.

Regards.
