When I go to log into my Facebook account my wifes account keeps coming up instead of mine how do I get onto my own account please?

If your wife's Facebook account keeps coming up when you try to log in, you can follow these steps to log into your own account:

1. Log Out: If you're already logged into your wife's account, log out of it. You can usually find the "Log Out" option in the account settings or the drop-down menu.

2. Clear Browser Cookies: Clear your browser's cookies and cache. This will help remove any stored login information.

3. Visit Facebook: Go to the Facebook website (www.facebook.com) or open the Facebook app.

4. Enter Your Information: Enter your email address or phone number and password associated with your Facebook account and click "Log In."

This should allow you to log into your own Facebook account. If you continue to face issues, ensure that you're using the correct login credentials, and make sure you're not automatically logged into your wife's account from a shared device.

When i try to log into my Facebook account it brings up my grandsons account instead

Just try logging out of that other account and then login into your account. The reason it's happening is your grandson's account is already being logged in and whenever you are trying to login into your account, it by default takes you to that other logged in account.

Why I can't login facebook

Facebook has become a daily or near-daily habit for many people all over the world: People spend more than 700 billion minutes every month on the site, talking to friends, playing games and sharing information. While signing up with Facebook is simple, sometimes accessing an existing account can prove to be problematic. This can occur for a variety of reasons.

  1. Incorrect Password
    • Facebook users who attempt to log into the site with an incorrect password will not be able to access their account until they go through the password recovery process. Users can recover their Facebook password by clicking the "Forgot Your Password?" link underneath the password login field. Users must enter their Facebook email address, linked mobile phone number, Facebook username, or their name and a friend's name. Following information entry, users can click the "Search" button to identify their account and have the password reset to a new password of the user's choice.
    Incorrect or Forgotten Email
    • Facebook users who provide an incorrect email address will be unable to log into the site. Since an email address must be entered exactly as it appears on the email account, including any capital or lowercase letters, numbers and special symbols, an incorrect email login may be as simple as an accidental lowercase letter or a forgotten underscore. Facebook users should check their email address to ensure that no mistakes of this nature have occurred before login.
If a user has forgotten the email address used for their Facebook account, Facebook suggests the following options for email address recovery: Try to log in with a username if one was registered, try to log in using a mobile phone number if one is linked to the account, try locating the account on the "Password Reset" page, or ask a Facebook friend to view the account and find the email address listed on the profile. If none of these options work, Facebook suggests using any option on the "Recover Your Account" page.
    Cache Or Cookies Problems
    • Facebook users who are unable to log in may be having a cache or cookies problem. To fix these type issues, users should clear the cache and cookies on the computer or mobile device, enter "m.facebook.com" as a URL rather than using previously established bookmarks or links, then log in as usual.
    Account Disabled by Facebook
    • Facebook seeks to keep its site populated with real people, rather than fake profiles. As Facebook states, "Since accounts that impersonate anyone or anything can damage the integrity of this environment, Facebook doesn't allow fake profiles for celebrities, pets, ideas or inanimate objects." If your profile is deemed to be a potential fake profile, the account may be disabled by Facebook. When this occurs, the user will get a message upon attempted login that provides a link to the "Confirm Your Identity" page. This page provides possible reasons that the account may have been disabled. In some cases, it is due to the user not confirming an identity via a phone number.
I hope you find it very helpful. Thank you for using fixya.

I can't get into my facebook account, which is now under a different profile. I need to install cookies which I can't establish. I need your help on how to do this.

at the top right hand corner in facebook there a link that says "account". click on the link and it will popup another menu. at the very top of the new menu there will be a link that says "log out". click on that link. this will log you out of the current profile you have on there and you can login with your own credentials. cookies store your login information which is why it keeps logging you in with the same account automatically.

Facebook Login Problem

Try enabling cookies on your browser, after you do this, close the browser, then re open it and try to login.

If this doesn't help and you are sure that you enabled cookies, make sure that your firewall and other protection programs allow Facebook cookies.
