On web cam people can see me but I can't see them its saying not connected

it's not your CAMERA it works they see you, it's THEIR camera that isn't working. Have them go to Tools/Options/Video Settings and change it there. If they have a web cam connected to a laptop it's probably trying to use the laptop's built in camera, and if the lid is down you see squat. They'll likely have to go back and reset every time they reconnect the camera because Skype looses track of it and falls back to the default.

My video calling is gone, can only MAKE a regular phone call. Video call is no longer highlited as an option as Iv always had it!

1. Try updating your skype to a newer version
OR
Do you have a camera attached and functioning? Without a camera, video isn't an option. If Skype does not recognise your camera, it will not work. ?
BTW are you on a MAC ?

Making camera work with Yahoo Instant Messenger

Windows Media Encoder enables the ability for you to "LIVE" broadcast using your webcam utilising Windows Media Encoder 9 and your participant viewers watching you using Windows Media Player at the recieving end. So in other words, you are effectively setting up "your own" live streaming broadcasts either video, audio(such as internet radio) or both from your PC without using the likes of Skype, Yahoo, IM etc.
