Wont unlock when I swipe the screen

1. From the top of the screen, swipe downwards.
2. Select 'More'.
3. Tap 'Security'.
4. Find 'Lock Screen Password' and tap 'Off'.
5. Now enter your current password.
6. Select 'Next' and tap 'Done' to confirm.

It will not ask for a password each time you turn on or it goes to sleep!

Turn off and wipe screen with a damp (not wet) cloth and then wipe with dry cloth!

If by larger screen, you mean Zoomed screen, it could be that you have turned on zoom in Settings / Accessability.
Also.... the iPad is "booted up" all the time. Generally all you are doing is Waking the iPad from sleep or screen in sleep mode.
To ReBoot your iPad (worth doing every month or so) First quit all Apps by double clicking round button and individually swipe each open App upward to shut the App down. When all apps are turned off, Hold the Top button & Round Button in together for about 5-10 seconds. This will shut the iPad down completely. When all off, Press the top button in for about 5 seconds. You will see the Apple logo while it ReBoots. This usually fixes any minor glitches etc in the Apps. If a particular App is giving problems, you can hold your finger down on it till the X shows in the LH Top of its icon. Click this and it will be wiped off your iPad. Then re download it for free through the App Store and check to see if problem has gone.

Swipe from right to left.

If that doesn't work, close Safari and reboot your iPad.
Double tap tap the home button and then swipe up on the Safari preview screen that you see right above the Safari icon. Swiping up on that screen will close the app.
Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple Logo appears on the screen. After the iPad starts up, try again.

looks like your touch pad does not working.
please go for the repair maybe its a little loose contact with flex cable and connecting port in the inside.

ok try the reset button plug the power cord before you start. look where is the reset and use a small point toothpick .

I had same problem. Asked computer man and so simple. When first turned on you should see a circle on the lower right side of the screen.Just swipe from the center to the lock.

If u swipe from the bottom up, to get to the control center (or go to settings), is the orientation locked, or unlocked?

Double click home button
then scroll with your finger to the right look for first icon with a 3/4 circle with arrow tip that icon allows you to lock/unlock portrait mode

format it and reinstall all the driver cds...
