Just moved?First try another device in your new place a/c socket to see if it is working. Then see if your lpt's power adaptor is damaged(if you do not have a multitester just put it on your tongue-it won't kill you-).After these steps you can continue with the battery. Also check for any button on your device which could be stay pressed some times this thing blocks some functions

Take the battery out and put it in again. Sometimes the power management gets in a funny state. This happened to my flatmate - he rang a computer repair shop and the suggested this - it worked. Strangely, the next day, the same thing happened to my O2 Xda - it worked for me too !

Some PCs has an ON OFF switch on the back, did you check it?

It also could be possible that after you moved it some cable inside is loose.

Open it, check all the cables, connect power and see if on the motherboard you have any LED on. If not test the power supply or change it.

I had this happen to my emachines T1842 about a year ago. I replaced the power supply and it worked fine. It was about 25 bucks but fixed my problem. Make sure the red switch on the back hasnt been messed with. it should be on 115. If you have moved it, it may have blown a fuse inside the power supply.

When I start up my emachines D3315 the fan revs up then nothing no video nothing else happens.

it sound like you may have a motherboard problem you maybe looking at getting a new motherboard if the fan starts but nothing else happens.
its not a power problem this will be dealing more with the motherboard its self. try removing the hard drive if the screen says no hard disk found then your board is most likely ok. try rebooting and hitting f8 to insure that the computer is not stuck in a hibornation state. this is not likely but possible. do you see lights in the front of the computer? this will let you know that your getting enough power flowing thru the unit. if all this fails your motherboard has gone bad on you

Emachine T3624 will not power up

Emachines are notorious for having faulty power supplies. If your lucky you just need to replace the power supply. I've seen a lot of them where the power supply also fried the motherboard.

Please don't forget to rate this solution.

EMachine will not turn on.

Sounds like the power supply is faulty. Power supplies are very dangerous to try and repair, even for qualified technicians. I would also suggest not trying to plug it in or turn it on until the new power supply is in place. Faulty power supplies have been known to cause motherboards to permanently malfunction. Note: researching your issue, I came across several forum posts with complaints about emachines and their power supplies. The best way to solve this problem is to purchase a new power supply. If shopping online, www.tigerdirect.com and www.newegg.com are two places that specialize in PC hardware. A 400-watt power supply would probably more than do the trick for you. The cheapest one I found was $18.00. Make sure the power supply is compatible with your motherboard before you buy.
