Question about Sony VAIO VGN-S460 Notebook

Laptop repair my laptop fell down from table i put off n on later i can see window opening but doesnt open it just black screen with cursur cant view or do anything

Depending on how high the fall you could have damaged the hard drive which cases the black scree and the cursor blinkin only can you enter any letters to the screen if you can all u may need to do is reinstall windows and you may be ok again. Theres not much info and Im going on what you have just said.?

If you have a function button try holding it down and pressing F2, possibly the screen has been accidentally switched off.

Could be that a virus took out some needed files to boot to windows. Try inserting operating disc and repair MBR. Or you might just have to do a full system recovery.

Windows depending of the license do something like that, ofter 2 hours more or less of working it automaticaly shutdown 'causse the license is expired, but if it doesnt the problem i think than maybe it is a virus.

I dropped my Lg View on the ground. Now i cant see anything.

you need to send the phone in for service, because the LCD and touch functions is already damaged.

It sounds like your screen is damaged.Look on Ebay and get the replacement..If you have no knowledge of how to do it then I would suggest a new laptop.

Printing a 2007 Word document on Word 2000 and yes I've tried the Converter but to no use.

Open the document in word 2007, click file, save as and in the save as dialog box at the very bottom is a field "save as type" Click the down arrow and scroll down to and select Word 6.0/95(*.doc)
In the File Name: field type a new name so that you don't save over your original.
Click save.
The new file will open in word 2000.
