Does the LG Flatron W1952TQ Monitor have a reset button on it? Because it was working and now nothing. Monitor won't come on

Hello,

The most common cause of power loss on the W1952TQ is a failure of the filter capacitors on the power supply board. This is the same board used in several of the LG monitors including the W2252. You can repair the monitor by replacing the capacitors on the board. Here is a link to a repair kit with the correct capacitors to rebuild the power board.

How do i clean lg flatron W1952TQ screen?

According to the Owner's Manual (http://www.lg.com/us/support/product/support-product-profile.jsp?customerModelCode=W1952TQ-TF.AUSMAPN&matchedModelCode=1000004017&searchEngineModelCode=W1952TQ&initialTab=documents&targetPage=support-product-profile#), unplug it from its power source, then wipe it with a slightly damp (not wet) cloth; & don't spray the screen with an aerosol because the overspray could cause electrical shock. I suggest that with it unplugged from its power source, use monitor wipes (available at most office supply stores). Then plug it into its power source away from souces of water, & you're done.

Lg flatron w1952tq goes into power saving mode on boot computer works fine on other monitor. Running Kubuntu linux.

your LG monitor is bad then if you put another monitor on the computer and your getting video. Just as a last resort, you might want to put the LG monitor on another computer and if it stays in sleep mode then you know for sure at that point, the monitor is bad.

Analog power saving mode

If its going to analog power saving mode, that is what its supposed to do when it does not get a recognizable connection from a computer vga port. I would suggest coming back on with some more information about your computer and suggest testing another screen on your pc.
