1. You may have lost the drivers for the sound card. If you have the mother board driver CD you can reload the sound card driver via the "device manager" in Windows. 2. Check also if you don't have any of the sound outputs muted in the "volume mixer" at the task bar icon for the sound ( the speaker icon).
I have checked on Gigabyte's web site. I'm afraid that Gigabyte did not release a driver for Windows Vista for your motherboard's model. I looked thoroughly in the download page, but couldn't find any drivers for Windows Vista.
