When the tv is turned on the power led flashes green a few times before flashing red about twice every three seconds. Does anyone know what the solution to this problem is? I have the tools to go about fixing the tv. Thanks!
Ok, this may be a silly question but when you turn it on and it starts flashing red, have you tried pressing the stand-by button on the remote. if a tv has been put on stand-by by the remote, and is then switched off by the set, when the set is turned back on it is still in stand-by mode and you need to press the stand-by button on the remote.
other than that I don't know.

There are actually two red leds present on your tv and depending on which one is flashing is going to tell you what to replace. 3X on the Temp led will point to a faulty thermistor and you would want to replace this part. If the 3 red blinks are the lamp light than this is a error on the iris position and you would need to have the optical block replaced.

hello, you have a either your su, sd or sc boards fualty and it is a driver sos1 thats what the manual reads the best thing to do if your not electronically inclined or able to fix it is to get a service manual and make sure it is for your specific model and size you will find what the 7 blink codes mean, on my side i have a 42 in pana the service manual for this set and your is similar so since it is not the same model i cant tell you exactly what the truoble is but your best bet is to find a service manual find the 7 blink fualt then without getting ripped off you will know what the service man needs to do if you dont know or cant replace the parts yourself that is besides having to download firmware from your computer to a sd card and update your set but you need to solve the blinking code first it may solve the entire issue. the tv should come on when you resolve the blink codes or replace the fualty board or boards

10 Blinks SOS: The voltage regulators IC5400 and IC5401 in the A board generate SUB9V and SUB5V. The 9V and 5V from these ICs are monitored by IC1100. Any abnormality on the SUB9V or SUB5V lines, triggers the shutdown circuit and the MPU shuts down the unit. The power LED blinks 10 times.
But need to measure the connection SC2, if it short, it will be the SC board.
