Did you sync the files? If you didn't then thats the obvious problem.... However, in order to guarentee thats the problem, I would have to know what kind. If its an Ipod, then you are most likely using Itunes. drag and drop all of your songs into the music section, and press "synch". That will put all of the songs (given you have enough space) onto your ipod.
If it is a Sansa, chances are, it came with rhapsody, and thats what you used. If that is the case, dont use the rhapsody. its absolute ****. You are better off either A)using media player (which then, your steps are nearly the same as with itunes and an ipod). OR you can go into My Computer, and click on removable storage, which in this case, would be your mp3 player, and copy all the songs you want directly into that folder from the folder that your downloads are in. Either way will work. but the media player way will give you access to making playlist, where as just dragging and dropping the songs will not.
these solutions, should work for just about any mp3 player with little deviance, possibly only with brand names of programs used, etc. for any questions, just IM me at XxLillySilverixX on Aim.
