I got the unlock code (subsidy password) from T-Mobile. The problem was that when I inserted the non-T-Mobile SIM card I got the "contact service provider" message instead of a prompt to enter the unlock code. I contacted T-Mobile again and they asked me to wait about 30 minutes for the "contact service provider" message to go away and the prompt to show up. (I also saw a lot of postings on the internet suggesting the same approach, with the wait period variously between 15 minutes and 24 hours.) I followed the suggestion and the correct prompt came up after about 1 hour. Then everything worked as expected. Thanks, anyway, for your offer of help.
its ur mobile software problem..after few days it ll show oly tat msg...operation of ur mob ll struk in future...so better reinstall ur mob software and then use it....same pro had for me also..i cleared by tis way oly
