Hi
If you remove the fuel you believe to be the mixture out of the fuel tank and refuel with the correct mixture then remove the air filter. Put a few drops of the correct mixture in to the intake it should start. it may take a few times of repetting putting the fuel in to the intake, but eventually it will clean out the bad fuel and run good.Remember to replace the air filter!

Poured in the wrong oil/gas ratio into my Craftsman leaf blower. Stupidly poured entire 2-cycle oil provided directly into the blower reservoir and filled balanced with gas (Should've read instructions...

it only means your spark plug is covered in oil. I do not expect any damage. try and remove and clean spark plug maybe use some gas to wash the excess off. maybe put a small drop of gas into the spark plug hole and replace. this may help start the engine. what you need to do this flush out all the oil so that the correct mix can get in. Also ensure no oil has got into the air filter ensure that is clearn before trying to start it again.

I hope this was useful

Do i mix the gas or use straight gas

The answer is that ALL 2-stroke engines requires that you mix oil with the gas. ALL 4-stroke engines do not take oil in the gas. So the simple answer is if there is no place to add oil, then you have to mix oil in the gas - not the same kind of oil though! I don't know this particular model, but I have never seen a 4-stroke wearable leaf-blower. The kind on wheels could be either, but most (maybe all) are 4-stroke.

What is the fuel gas ratio for a homelite yard broom ll 170mph blower

The mixture should be at a 50:1 ratio, using Premium Exact Mix™ 2-cycle engine oil. If Premium Exact Mix™ 2-cycle engine oil is not available, use a high quality 2-cycle engine oil, mixed at a 50:1 ratio.

You can get the manual on the link below if you need it also.

Why is my leaf blower smoking

If it is a 2 cycle try to empty the oil and gas out and put new in. If you mix oil in the gas then you might have put too much in.

Hope this works,

Wht is the gas to oil ratio for a homelite vac

Yours is not a current model and I did not find a manual. The following is an excerpt from a 26cc MightyLite Blower/Vac UT08550/UT08951 "Operator's Manual":
This product is powered by a 2-cycle engine and requires pre-mixing gasoline and 2-cycle lubricant. Pre-mix unleaded gasoline and 2-cycle engine lubricant in a clean 1 gallon container approved for gasoline.
Recommended fuel: This engine is certified to operate on unleaded gasoline intended for automotive use.
Mix Homelite Premium Exact Mix lubricant with gasoline according to the instructions on the package. If Premium Exact Mix lubricant is not available, use a high quality synthetic 2-cycle engine lubricant, mixed at 2.6 oz. per gallon (US).
Do not use automotive lubricant or 2-cycle outboard lubricant.
NOTE: Premium Exact Mix fuel mix will stay fresh up to 30 days. DO NOT mix quantities larger than usable in a 30 day period.
PREMIUM EXACT MIX (50:1)
GasolineLubricant
1 gallon (US) 2.6 oz.
1 Liter 20 cc (20 ml)

1 quart fuel:3/4 ounces of oil = 1 Gallon fuel:3 ounces of oil or slightly less than 43:1. Not what a current manual recommends.

If properly adjusted your blower will operate fine on 50:1 regardless of what the manual reads. HTH

Yardbroom II pull start hard to pull

put a teaspoon of mix oil into the spark plug hole, some times the metal starts to bind in the engine. keep the wire off and the plug in and pull the cord a bunch of times until it starts to get easier, if you need to add more mix directly to the hole then do it. hope this helps
