Oh ---- open circuits are a headache. try take out one fuse only at night or day whenever trk will be sitting for 7 or 8 hours. once you find the circuit it is alot easier to troubleshoot each wire.

2006 Ford F-250, 6.0 diesel pick-up. Please, could someone tell me which fuse runs the door ajar chime please?

There is no fuse just for door ajar chime.

Door Ajar Warning Chime The door ajar warning chime warns that a door is ajar. The door ajar warning chime is a single chime with a 1 second duration. The door ajar chime sounds when the driver or passenger door becomes ajar while the ignition switch is in the ON position.
The door ajar warning chime inputs are:
  • the ignition switch ON position
  • the door ajar switches
The output is the instrument cluster chime.

Wont start back after refueling?

your not mentioning if this is gas or diesel allthough im hoping it's a diesel being a f350 (gas is not so practical at this size truck)
anyway if it's a diesel and you have a hot hard to start problem it's most surely your injectors getting stuck open and draining off your fuel pressure it only takes one stuck open to drain off all pressure but a 91 should have em all replaced at same time any good diesel mechanic would know how to confirm this with a few simple tests

Ford 350 diesel truck batteries draining.

how much is not much ? see the computer has to keep the memory alive but you would not have to drive it once or twice a year for the batt to drain to find this drain disconnect the battery terminal (pos) hook a volt meter to one end to the cable and the other end to the battery terminal take the reading and right it down now open the door take another reading mark it down this higher reading is because the interior light switch is on ok start pulling fuses one by one each fuse keep an eye out for the least amount of draw until you read zero at this time when this happens write in your notes fuse location of the fuse which made the least amount of draw and e-me and will go from there if you need more assistance please e-me thanks Lee Davidian

The battery on our 2006 Cobalt goes dead for no apparent reason. This is happening more and more often.

have your charge system tested.
clean your battery cable ends,
also make sure there is nothing staying on when you have the car turned off.
at night walk around see if any light are on,inside and out.listen for any noise coming from the car it should be quiet, you are testing for a battery drain(draw).

1990 ford diesel non turbo

it sounds like your fuel lines aren't maintaining pressure and the angle is allowing too much fuel to drain out of the lines. i have the same issue with and older f350 diesel if i let it sit a while and it doesn't get started.
