Using vivitar 70-300 lens

Can i use my vivitar 70-300 zoom lens originally with an adaptor for a
minolta camera now to be fitted to olympus e-520 or nikon dslr d90?
If so would it be a different adaptor for the 2 cameras mentioned above??

Yes and yes. Bear in mind that not all features may work. You probably won't get autofocus or metering with the Nikon D90, for example.

This lens should fit an older SLR Canon with the FD style lens mounts. I believe all SLR canon cameras were the FD style until 1987. Then they switched to the EF mounts. The last FD style mount was used on the T60 in 1990.

Is it posseble to use a vivitar lens of analog olympus camera on a digital canon camera

It depends on the lens. If the lens has a fixed mount for an Olympus, then no, it will only fit on Olympus cameras. If it has a removable T-mount, then yes, with an appropriate T-mount for Canon or most any other brand.

What cameras does this lens fit?

Vivitar made this lens with several different mounts, including mounts for Canon and Minolta cameras. Your best bet is to take the lens with you to a large camera store. The staff at the store may be able to simply identify which mount your lens has, or they can try the lens on different camera bodies to see which it fits.

Sorry, the mounts of Minolta manual focus lenses are different than their auto focus series. Sigma, Tokina and Tamron all make compatible zoom lenses to fit the Maxxum series cameras

Compatibility of vivitar lens with Minolta x370

Minolta X 370 is not an auto focus camera so provided you are willing to use the Vivitar lens in manual AND provided the lens has minolta mount , you will be able to use it.
