I cant pair my explorer 230 to my new phone?

Once you make your iphone discoverable, then put the Plantronics 232 headset into pairing mode by pressing the call control button until it flashes red and blue. If it's not flashing red and blue, then it is not in pairing mode. Below is a link for the pairing instructions for the 230 headset (which is the same as the 232):

Do not know what type of phone that you have, but following the basic instructions for a pair up it should be to turn your phone on to the bluetooth settings turn on your bluetooth and the find each other. Below is the link to the Explorer 230 User's Guide.

It may be that it is defective but to to the link to the Explorer 230 pairing instructions to try following the pairing instructions first. Always make sure there is no other bluetooth interference.

If you don't want to use the Bluetooth then either turn the head set off or deactivate the blueooth on your phone.

Make sure the headset is off when you start the pairing process for linking it to your phone. Then see your phones user guide for linking the headset.

Delete the headset from your phone. Turn your phone and headset off. Turn your phone back on and follow the directions to pair the headset to your phone. I will include a link to the user guide below.
