Recently, our Asko D3121 Dishwasher has stopped drying the dishes.
We have had the dishwasher for 4 years.
Thank you for your assistance in advance.

Yes we had to end up getting a dishwasher repair service. Apparently there was a faulty part on the main computer board, so they fixed it and there aren't any more problems with it...
They were excellent and didn't overcharge...
    We found them on womow.com.au

I just fixed mine today with the same problem. It took 2 minutes to fix the controller. There was one bad solder joint on the heater relay. The bad connection was very obvious. I resoldered it and its back to heating again!

My model was DW20.1 but DW20.x will likely be the same.

Its a shame I wasted time testing the element and temp sensors. Cool thing is I never pulled the machine out. I did it all by just removing the 6 screws on the front panel

Dish washer is about four yrs old and is leaving dried particles all over dishes and glasses I have tried cleaning solutions and it still continues.

Either there is some error with the pump or the switching valve that switch the wahing water between the upper and the lower rotating water ejecting dishwasher arm. There is no longer water enough in the dishwasher to turn on both dishwasher arms at the same time. Had the same problem with a ASKO DW20.3. At the moment the ASKO is disassambled to change the motor driven valve. Kind regards. Henning

I have detergent buildup/residue in the dishwasher and dishes. I've used Jet Dry and have made sure to run the water hot just before starting the cycle.

Hi,

The scum, film and white residue problems have started since the reduction of phosphates in dishwasher detergents.

Here is a tip that will help you to solve the problem of films, residue, and scum in your dishwasher.

Our 4 year old Asko D3121 dishwasher has stopped heating the water and drying off the dishes..is the problem as simple as replacing the heater element ??? If so ,how difficult is it ?

I would check the voltages around the heater before replacing it. Sometimes the thermal overload relay opens out and shuts off the power. Could be a more simpler to replace than the whole heater.

ASKO dishwasher won't drain and makes rattling sound.

I had tried several failed attempts to fix this problem. Finally I got on my knees and asked God to make the dishwasher run in Christ's name. The dishwasher just completed it's first cycle without any problems.

Model d3121 does not "heat"... when I use it the water don't be hot and the dishes doesn't dry. you can answer in french i'll try to understand ... as you can see i'm not bilingual but...

In my case, the problem was with the control card, located behind the control buttons on the front. The relay driving 120V, 10A to the heaters had one pin dissoldered, probably because of heating. It was dark around the pin. See the picture attached. The top part showd the PCB with the faulty pin marked by a red arrow; the bottom part shows the other side of the PCB with the relay itself.

Remember that this relay/pin drived 1400 W.

I found the electrical drawings here:

Dishes are not coming out fully clean

first if the pump is running and you can hear it washing it should clean now hot water cleans dishes not the washer the hotter the better at least 130-135 degrees modern dish washers use less water than older models so if you don't get the water as hot as you can stand it at the sink before you turn the washer on you can fill it with cold water second its important that you use jet dry and if your dishes aren't dry at the end of the cycle then on most washers you can turn the disp up for more hope that helps let me know
