The flash on my sony DSC-H2 just quit working. Is there anyway that I can get this fixed locally without sending it in to sony? Or is it something simple that I could fix.

hiyes, you can get service at your local place. it is quite easy problem. it would have either brown fuse or defective flash unit. local repair shop would charge around $45 to 135 depend on what they really want to charge.

Sony DSC-H2 flash bulb not working

Probably just a burned out bulb or a disconnected wire. Try taking it to a Radioshack and see if they can take out the bulb for a replacement. Shouldn't be that difficult to replace.

Sony camera clicking button is lost, how to replace it

You need a new release assy

https://servicesplus.us.sony.biz/sony-parts.aspx#

Part Number X21083252

To replace involves removal of :

Rear Cover
LCD
Circuit Board
Lens Unit
Flash Circuit

Once those are out, you can twist the old release button unit out and refit the new on inreverse order.

E 91 01 THE FLASH DOESNT WORK AND IT GIVES THIS ERROR CODE

Just go in "menu", "set up 1", "initialize", and select "ok". With that you will reestart your camera. I already did it twice in my DSC-H2 and the flash came back to work. Goo Luck!!

Sony's broken button issue

You need to use you fingernail and pop off the entire button assembly. When you have done this you will be looking inside your camera.

Set the new button assembly into the slots. It will not want to go on by just pushing down. The plasitc assembly is very slick so put a small piece of scotch tape the yellow stuff. I put the tape around the plastic assembly. Make sure you are only putting tape on the chrome plastic assembly. The reason for the tape is to get a good hold of the plastic asembly.

Once you have the tape on the assembly/chrome piece you need to really push down and twist clockwise. You will hear a click and then another click. Make sure you hear two clicks. I had to push and twist pretty hard to make it lock into place.
