Network key for belkin router

If you lost your network key, thankfully there's a solution! You don't need internet to access this, and depending on your brand, you should be able to recover the key.

look on the back of the box and see if there is a reset button. Push that for 10 seconds to reset the router to defaults. You'll reset the password but need to res-etup the router to connect to the internet.

I think it is 1234567890123,WEP,Shared key.I'm not sure though.

Get the user manual to verify how to make a master reset on your router. There should be a small button inside a very little hole, on the back, that you should press with a pen.

the easiest would be to login to the router and set another network key.
if you're unable to login you'll have to reset the router and reconfigure it.

The best option in this case (assuming it has normal ethernet ports) is to connect a computer up by wire and configure the router from there.

Alternatively you can reset the router to factory defaults, via a button that should be near the power input on the unit, usually holding the button down for 10 seconds will reset it to factory defaults. From there you will be able to set the unit up as per normal, and should have no encryption key on the wireless.

192.168.2.1 is the web access page for the belkins router. You can also just download the software from belkins website for you model of router. Run the program and redo the network key.
