Need software to connect my mobile phone samsung SGH-Z500 to PC

You need a software that will allow or manage your stuff to transfer all the way from pc to phone or vice-versa .

Below is a detailed solution to your problem;
STEP 1.

Most mobile phones nowadays come standard with a USB data transfer cable and bundled software utility. Check the box that your mobile phone came with for the cable and CD-Rom. If not provided with the software, it may be available as a free download from the manufacturer’s website.
STEP 2.

Once you have located your software CD, check the system requirements necessary to run the software such as hardware specifications, operating systems supported etc. Install the software following on-screen instructions, but do not plug in the USB data cable or phone in just yet, unless the software requests you to do so during the installation process.

STEP 3.

Once the installation is complete, the software would usually require a reboot of the PC before plugging in the mobile phone for the first time. Then connect your mobile phone to the data, and the cable to the USB port of your PC. Several phones may display a message on the mobile display that the phone is now connected to the PC, but if not don’t worry just yet!

STEP 4.

Once connected, start up your mobile phone’s software, and browse through the interface. Samsung provides a data cable that plugs into an USB port of a PC. If no such cable came with your phone, contact Samsung customer care for a quotation. Once connected, the phone memory will show up as an external storage device in Windows.
Alternatively, if you have a laptop with bluetooth connectivity, you can send the pictures by bluetooth message.

You need to use the CD that came with your mobile phone.
First Instal the relative software from SAMSUNG's CD and then plag the USB connection and start using it.

If you dont have this CD search into Google for the said software or check SAMMSUNG's web site.

I think the problem is that your computer doesn't recognizes your cellphone. You must have a pc suite of some sort ti interface the cellphone to the computer. Hope this solves the problem.

sounds like you need to uninstall the software, reinstall it and then connect your phone.  If you are usng the front USB panels, try the back ones.  Sometime the front connectors are USB1 and are not fast enough.

the pc studio works just fine and u can update your software as well.

i have the same problem but i guess my data cable(usb) is the reason-not working properly-, if urs is ok just go to the link and download the pc suit 3 and the software.

what cable data brand and model did you have?
If you buy Mobile Action or otherbrand cable data, usually they include file manager software at their bundled cd.

Samsung have their own file manager call Easy Gprs or Easy Link, it depend on your handset model.
