The USB cable is not for charging, only for transferring. If you want to use rechargeable batteries then you must recharge them using a separate battery charger.

How can i charge rechargable batteries without usb cable for GE c1433 digital camera

The C1433 is a camera, not a battery charger. It uses standard AA batteries, either disposables or rechargeables. If you choose to use rechargeable batteries, you must charge them outside the camera using a separate battery charger.

My onxy mp3 player won't charge despite being plugged into my USB port for hours

If the MP3 player battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

I have a Sylvania digital camcorder 720p. How can I recharge the batteries.

All I could find out about this problem is that it has a lithium rechargeable battery, and so it could probably be charged through the usb port. If you take it into Best Buy, they can tell you for sure how it's charged, and which cable and port you should use.

Hi, Here is the relevant text as found in the instructions:"Plug the mini USB end of the supplied USB charge cable to the charge socket on the Sonic Screwdriver Remote Controller (SSRC) and other end [ their error, not mine -KP ] of the charge cable to the Wii console. A red LED charge indicator is on when charging. When the battery is fully charged, the red LED automatically turns off. Charge time is between 2 to 3 hours and a fully charged battery has between 6 to 12 hours of playtime.""The Wii Console must be ON for the SSRC to be able to recharge its battery. It will not recharge when the Wii Console is OFF or in Stand-by Mode."" Charging : LED lights up"" Full charge : LED goes out"Hope this works for you. Keith Pyne

I found some interesting information about your camera. It turns out that the camcorder will only charge its battery if it detects the physical presence of its rechargeable battery pack. Battery detection depends on two physical components. One is a switch located at the top of the battery compartment, The other is a little plastic tab included with the battery pack

Instructions for the fix are located at this link: Fixing Flip UltraHD that won charge its battery

You should be able to recharge this unit by connecting to your PC and charging through your USB connection.

If your battery is faulty or unable to recharge, here's a replacement battery that's available:

http://bestbuy.partsearch.com/GetModel.aspx?MfgName=Best+Buy+Company+Incorporated&BrandName=Insignia&ModelNumber=NSDCC5HB09&Page=1&SortBy=brandname&SortDirection=asc

Just about any AC to USB charger will work to recharge this unit, so if you have an iPod with the iPod wall charger, use the correct USB cable with the wall charger and you will be able to recharge the battery in the camcorder.

Hope this helps!

How do I recharge the battery?

The battery is recharged by plugging into an active USB connector. A while light will blink to indicate it is charging. Keep in mind you can use any USB connector that has power - a USB phone wall charger, a game system, or a cable box with USB will all charge it.

Flip ultra hd not charging

I had the same problem, but it seemed to be a bit more sporadic. I'd occasionally get the "Charging Paused - Check Battery Pack" error. The battery pack itself looks a bit strange, since the white plastic covers the bottom, right side and it seems that there is no possible way for the battery to make contact with the camera. However, I saw the following suggestion on another site (which the poster claimed came from Flip technical support), and this technique worked for me:

1) remove the battery pack from the camcorder
2) connect the camcorder to a powered USB port on your computer
3) when the "Connected" indicator comes on, insert the battery pack into the camcorder
4) safe eject your camcorder from your computer
5) reconnect your camcorder to your computer
6) the battery pack should now begin to charge within the camcorder

Will not take a charge. took two charges prior but has now stopped

I found this online at www.sandisk.com under warranty and manuals link.
I believe they have an excellent Return Authorization system, that if you truly have trouble with your disk player and it's still under warranty, gather your receipts and get on line to get an RMA. I have successfully returned to disc players that were infact faulty (FAT problems) and received two replacement players. Get on it right away. Look at the manaul online too. IT can be very helpful. I've included the Battery info, and the link for the manual at the end.
