Button on the upper Left is MODE.
Button on the lower Left is LIGHT.
Button on the upper right is DATE.
Button on the lower right is Alarm.

Press and Hold down the Mode Button til the Hours flash
Then push Alarm Button to set the Hours
Press and Hold down the Date Button till the Minutes flash, then push D/Alarm Button to set the minutes
After setting the minutes on your watch, Press date till you get the month flashing push Alarm to set the month
Press the Date again till the Date flashes, then push Alarm to set date
Press the Date again till the Date on your watch flashes, then push Alarm to set the date

put watch in time 1 mode; hold set/el button on bottom left for 2 seconds; use mode button on top right to change between date, hour, minutes, and seconds; use both the right buttons to either go up or down on the different modes; once you have everything set, push the set/el button to save changes
Hi I was having a hard time with this too, but luckily I found my leaflet.
To set time: Press Mode 1 time Press Set 2 times/ press up or down for hour Press Set again for minute Continue Pressing Set (up to 6 times) until everything is set Back to normal mode- Press Mode 4 times To toggle between 12 hr and 24 hr, press Mode 1 time
To Set an Alarm: Press Mode 2 times Press Set 1 times for hour, continue pressing set like you did for the clock. Back to normal mode Press Mode 3 times To cancel Alarm Press Mode 2 times and Set 5 times

hey..i found out how to set the time for the model: diesel dz7087.. all u have to do is press and hold the light button..the when it starts ticking press the mode button repeatedly to set the time,date,etc...when u finished setting everything press the light button and everything will be set.. ciao ciao
hold set for 5 seconds, then push mode the hour will flash set the hour buy using the butions to the right top to go up botom to go down,when your have the hour push mode agen then set the minutes the same way, when your done push mode agen then it is done. problem solved.
hold right side buttons . time will flash set using top button, then use lower button to move through each aspect of menu. You use the top button to make changes then bottom to go to next option. Lower left button to exit
