You need to reset the menu once again as it is possible that the phone had hung up as there was LINE PROBLEMS . Once this was reset the CLIP facility came back. So if you can once again remove power battery and keep aside to reset , then start all over to set up the base and slave units to MESH , the intercom and line facility must work. You can remove the battery from the slave remote units to reset.
you can try to use a headset and see if it will work
normally if the caller cannot hear the receiver theres some problem with the mouthpiece. if the headset and loudspeaker works then you have to go to the store and have it fixed.
hope this help
The switch that the handpiece activates is not working. Could be optical, magnetic or physical. It may need cleaning, adjusting or a wire connection repaired. Also check the curly cord and its connections between the handpiece and telephone.
Check Windows Sound mixer for application volume. Down in system tray at right side of taskbar double click sound icon for XP or click sound icon once and click Mixer for Vista. Look through volume settings for your phone application. Make sure it is not muted and volume is up.
Solution: Contact local phone company to check the telephone wall jack for low ring voltage.
Ring-in Voltage
Facsimile equipment?(fax machines), like other telephone anwering devices, require ring voltage at a telephone jack to answer automatically.? The ring voltage is one of the services provided by the local phone company.
Low ring-in voltage can cause short bursts of ring tones at the phone jack.
Callers may hear one or two ring back tones and then ringing will stop and nothing else will be heard.
Inside the home, the called party will hear a brief ring and then nothing else will be heard. If the telephone handset is lifted, the caller may be on the other end.
To check if the fax will not answer due to low ring-in voltage, do the following:
Disconnect the fax at the telephone wall jack.
If an answering machine is available, connect it directly to the telephone jack. If an answering machine is not available, connect a telephone to the telephone jack.
Dial the fax line and see if the answering machine answers the call, listen for uncommon ring tones inside the home or check for similar symptoms as described above. If any of the above symptoms occur, please contact your local telephone company.
just need a new earpiece speaker or it simply needs to be adjusted into place. If there is no repair shop around you or you do not want to mess with it, then just buy a $20 bluetooth headset to bypass the whole earpiece.
I am also using motorolla v3 razer, when I dial a number, I can't hear any sound or ring, but they can receive my call. If someone call me, the phone ring, but when I answered it, I can't hear the caller.
I have check the volume setting and call setting. What I did was reseat the phone components. Turn it off, and then remove and return the battery, memory card, and the sim card. It fixed the issue.
I hope this can fix the issue you have.
