there is somthing serverly wrong there!
I am also using motorolla v3 razer, when I dial a number, I can't hear any sound or ring, but they can receive my call. If someone call me, the phone ring, but when I answered it, I can't hear the caller.
I have check the volume setting and call setting. What I did was reseat the phone components. Turn it off, and then remove and return the battery, memory card, and the sim card. It fixed the issue.
I hope this can fix the issue you have.
This happened to me too! I did a master re-set in case I'd inadvertently switched something on/off, but it didn't solve the problem. However, I did discover that I was able to hear the person on the other end if I switched to speakerphone during the call. Not ideal when you're out and about - in the end I had to give in and upgrade the phone...

I had the same problem as the person in the original posting -- I dropped my phone after which callers could no longer here me. So I tried dropping the phone again, as the original poster suggested, and afterwards the problem was solved.
