Can you use irobot Scooba on laminate floors?

I have a Bruce Hardwood Laminate Floor and want to use the irobot Scooba to clean the floor. Is it safe?

No. If water finds its way between the planks it will be absorbed into the core of the laminate and swelling will occur. In some cases if caught early enough and the planks are taken apart and allowed to dry they will go back to there normal size, this is rare. Usually if you read the manufacturers instructions for your cleaning machine it will say only use on a sealed hardwood floor, that means a floor where the raw wood was installed and then the finish applied. there is a lot less risk of damage from water with this type of flooring.

They are suppose to be hardwood floor safe but maybe you should call the manurfacturer and make sure

It leaves water after finished. That's the first time I use it but it leave water on the floor and it stops.

According to iRobot make sure that the Scooba is clean, including the parts (vacuum hose & filter, bottom roller)
Make sure the battery if fully charged, and that you let it complete the cycles!

You have to consult the laminate flooring manufacturer for the flooring that you have but usually it voids the warranty.
