How do i use text symbols when i am using the internet? I have tried many diffrent things, I need to use the under score and can not find it. It only has a few select symbols I can use and that is not one of them..

My Samsung cell phone limits me to 140 characters so this is not unheard of. I split my messages to under 140 and ask people who need to write a veritable epistle to do so by email because my phone cuts vital pieces when it chops messages up on receipt.
1.) Sync your smartphone with your facebook account. Generally this can be done under (Apps --> Settings --> Accounts or Accounts and Sync [Varies by samsung model] --> Choose add account --> Choose Facebook and Login with your credentials.
2) Now you can open your gallery. You can chose the picture you want to share to facebook and click on it to make it take up the full screen. At the top of the screen a symbol that looks like this should appear
After clicking this symbol it should ask you what you want to share the photo to. Simply choose facebook and you're all set. Add a caption or tags right there.
Press TOOLS (the spanner symbol) Press Settings(the spanner symbol) Press Language (Lips Symbol) You'll see 3 items. One for Voice Language, one for Text Language and one for keyboard. If you need to change the voice to english Press Voice Language and select english. If you need to change the text to english press Text Language and select english

"My Effect Tones" can only be MMF files. Ringtones can be WAV, MMF, MP3, etc... as long as the file is under 300kb I think. You need to convert your ring tones to MMF to use them as "Text Tones"
do you have txt msging with your service provider?? some thing to look in to and is your retrieval # correct in your phn for your service provider ?? 2 things that might give you problems call your service provider from a land line and check your settings
Do u have a text message plan? Do you have the internet turned off? Either of these would prevent you from sending a MMS (multi-media message) to an email address. That should be the first thing I would check. (Call ATT and ask if the internet is turned on).
then it should be as simple as texting: yourname@serviceprovider in the to slot to send...
Press and hold the # key until the symbols screen appears. Then use the directional keys to move to the set that contains the underscore, hit the number key that corresponds with the underscore and hit OK.
