TLX-04244B Ploaroid. Had it for 4 months and it stopped working

My family and I were watching our barely 4 month old Tv, though the manufacturing date says Sept 2008 on it. Anyways, we were watching the Tv and it mad a loud crack sound like a circuit breaker going off in a electrical box. Now I have no red light or blue light on my LED, It is dead!
I am hoping it is an easy fix. But I am expecting the worst. Dealing with the manufacturer and getting the run around and wasting my hard earned dollars on there product that did not even last a year!!

Can anyone help? Question from Colorado Springs

If you have no LED lights it sounds like at least the power supply board is dead.
Since it's less than a year old and under warranty, you should return it for repair/exchange.

What happened to my color on screen?

I experienced a similar problem with my 52" Sharp Aquos TV. I called and spoke with Sharp service dept. and they walked me thru the process of resetting the TV to it's original "default" values. It worked great once I completed the steps while on the phone with them.

suggest you do the same thing with JVC.

No sound on my 4 month old 55 inch Samsung

If its only 4 months old, it must be under warranty so contact the manufacturer.

Last night I turned my Polaroid TLX 04244B off, and had zero problems. This afternoon, I have a 6" pattern of horizontal lines across the right hemisphere of the screen. They come and go, darker...

You are probably seeing hum bars which may be due to an AC ground loop that is going through the shields of one or more of the cables inteconnecting the TV with one or more of the other video components. You should do the following to try to resolve it...
1. reseat all the interconnecting cables between TV and other units
2. have all AC power supplied by one power bar with a ground plug

Watch second hand

I had the same problem with my Tag. Same 4 second jump. It's definitely the battery. I'm surprised at only 3 months, but maybe it sat a while in the display case. Mine was over a year and a half.
