Sony H9 Image vibration Problem.

Hi, my camera started to vibrate the image producing a noize. Sometimes I change from photo to video or change the zoom and the problem desapears for a time then back after some shots. The image apears shaking and the lens make a noize. I already changed the bateries but the problem back after some time. Could someone tell me the root cause and the solution for this problem ? I found some peaople who solved the problem lubrificating the stabilizer. Thanks.

SOURCE: When I open the lens cover in the take picture

There is probably no user solution, it seems that optical lens vibration stabilizer is wrong/damaged, the only solution is to replace it.

SOURCE: Sony 18-70 kit lens vibrates badly

This is a lens problem, the AF motor of the lens is trying to engage the gears. Sometime it works, sometimes it does not... It happened to my sigma 70-300. The only solution is to have it repaired. If under warranty it should be free, if not.... might be cheaper to buy a new lens.

SOURCE: sony cybershot dsc-h7 -vibrating image, binding noise, blurry pic

if you alsow get vibrationOn Sony T100 and similar,
its the vibration canceling unit, i had the same problem.
if you have good hads you can fix it.( on your oun risk)
1) disasamble the camera, you will see black plastic box inside, this is he lens unit.
2) on the botom you see 2 scrwes, they are holding the CCD remove them and the ccd unit will come from the lens assembly
3) the next is the stabilizer unit it is the problematic one. it is located on the left side of the lens asebly and is held by 2 screws.
you can test it by puling out the cable connected to it (the conector is just under the lens) and verifign that the problem is solved. ( you can leave it this way it will shoot fine just without the anti shake)
4) to fix it take it out ,remove the plastic cover, you see the lens on a plastic mount it should be glued to the magnet under it. the problem is that the glue fals apart.
remove one of the pins on wich it slides, and take the lens and the magnet out.
5) reglue the magnet and reasemble the camera.
6) power up and test, for me that solved the problem

Sony Hdr hc7 vibration problem

Sony service centre can re-set the firmware to change the reactive feedback loop of the vertical direction of the optical stabilizer (turning the camera on its side will usually stop the vibration). See:
https://vimeo.com/181229317
Re-setting the firmware rarely works for very long.
I can fix this by taking the lens system apart and repairing the root cause of this.

Adding date stamp to photos

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

To change the image size, follow the instructions on page 51 of the handbook to set the image size to "VGA."

Hi, the photos i take are getting blurred and the image is not at all clear no matter how shot the distance may be i click the image.the only new icon i see on the screen is vibration warning symbol along...

If you are shooting in Auto mode with flash, this should solve your problem. Make sure you are not dictating any of the settings, i.e. choosing a longer shutter speed, a very small aperture setting, or a very low ISO (sensitivity) setting.

Typically the vibration warning icon will appear when the camera is trying to use a long shutter speed without flash in order to get the right exposure for a darker scene. Your outdoor (bright light) photos are probably OK.

In dim light with a point and shoot camera, you can have your choice between 1. blurry (using a relatively slow shutter speed), 2. dark (using a shorter shutter speed but no flash), or 3. a good photo with flash (which uses a medium shutter speed and added light from the flash)

Many Sony HX5C users says that them have met the problem as yours. but the worker of sony says it's all right because the resolution of the screen is low, if you enlarge the image may it won't vibrating. And it won't influence the image quality when it's on PC. Anything help?
