Please help me. i have downloaded plenty of themes but it never apply in my laptop. how can i fix it? Thank you so much
Copy a particular theme file to "C:\Windows\Resources\Themes" folder. Now come back to desktop, right click, select Themes option, Browse for the theme file in the above path and apply the theme!

i have the sam problem, ive downloaded loads of themes and i cant seem to get them in personalisation/ themes list. Is there any easy straight forward solution to this as obviously i'am a novice on computers.
p.s. i have a laptop running windows vista, if anyone can help would be very greatful thanks.

can you tell me where you downloaded the themes... you may need to install another program to make them work, such as Desktop X or Windows Blinds. if you could tell me one or two of the places where you got them it would help me figure it out.
do any of them appear in your list, or can you find them in a folder if you search from the desktop 'personalize' selection? you get there by right clicking on any empty space on the desktop and choosing 'personalize' from the menu... then go to themes.

was the themes an installer or just a file? usually themes in a format of an installer aer the ones most likely to be succesfully installed.
