Since your simcard is locked,insert your sim card into the phone and turn on the phone,allow it to boot up.

A message will appear on your screen saying "Sim card blocked please enter PUK (Pin Unblocking Key)..type in the PUK number this number will reset your pin code and you will be asked to create a new 4 digit pin for you simcard.

If u enter PIN code incorrectly 3 times, PIN will be blocked n phone will ask you for PUK(Personal Unblocking Key). This is a 8 digit code. If u enter Incorrect PUK for 10 times Your SIM will be lock permanently.

Your cell phone service provider can(Call from other no. n ask tell them for puk of ur no.) give you the PUK code aft3r answering simple security question.
Later enter PUK than enter new PIN, confirm new pin. Go to -Setting
-Security
-SIM lock
-off
Disable SIM n Later Phone Lock
PS:(You have to block your PIN to get access to PUK,
Default PIN- 0000, 12345)

PUK code is a SIM specific code assigned by your service provider. No way you can guess & enter it. So, when it asks for the PUK code, don’t do anything, get the PUK code from your service provider.

Questions might include your billing address, email ID, numbers you recently called or messaged etc. They might even ask you number printed on the SIM card, so be prepared with all details before calling them. Puk code, personal unlocking key. It is sim card related / spesific, if you take the sim card out from the phone, the phone will work with another sim card.

The puk comes up when the pin code has been entered wrong 3 times. To get the puk code for your sim card, you have to call the service provider of that sim card. They are the only ones who can provide you with the right puk code for that sim card.

Entering 3 wrong pin code blocks your pin code and to reset your pin code you have to enter a superior code thats called PUK code !

PUK is a code used to unlock a sim card if it has been blocked by entering incorrect PIN numbers. The codes are usually supplied with the sim card. If you don't have the original sim packaging or codes you have to get your puk codes from your service provider.

samsung phone "PUK blocked Call SOS" - i have the PUK code but cant put it in as its not giving me any option other than call sos. how do i put the code in to unlock it.

Every PUK code is unique so nobody can tell you your PUK number, but i will tell you what you can do!
1) If you still have your packet that your Sim Card came in, you should find your PUK number in there, if you don't have the packet, please read bellow.

2) You must get a phone that is on the same network as your phone and call the networks Customer Care and ask them for your PUK number, they will ask you for your phone number, then they will tell you your PUK number. Once you have done this, you will be able to reset your Pin number so you will be able to go into your phone again.
