Coby MP-705 Frozen after loading Files

Coby MP-705 froze up after loading two files (wma format), all I get is the clock with rotating hand. It gets to one point and stops. After that everything is frozen. I reset it several times using the pinhole, the player turns off, but then when I turn it backon, it goes to the clock and freezes again. When I plug into the USB, nothing happens, so I can't even delete the two files I loaded. I tried the 15 second turn off, but it dowsn't work either. Player is about 3 months old, and never had problems like this before.

What am I doing wrong with transferring audio files to the player and how can I transfer WMA audio files to the Coby MP-620 MP3 Player?

I know from reading the user manual that it is meant to play WMA
files but you may have to use the coby media manager to convert the files to mp3 or possibly to wma ( that the player can read )
I have similar problems with mp3 files that do not play in my car mp3 player .

Cant play video

1. Turn on the MP3 player, go to Settings/Setup - System - Change USB mode to MSC
2. Connect the MP3 player to the computer
3. The MP3 player will show up as a Removable Disk drive under 'My Computer'
4. Double click on it, it will load Coby Media Manager, follow prompts to install
5. Click the 'Movie' tab at the left hand side of Coby Media Manager, the software will scan your computer for video files.
6. Once your video shows, right click the video, and click 'Sync', this will add the video file to your MP705 with the correct format.

I don't know how to get songs from CDs we already have into the MP 705. Please help.

first you have to rip them to your computer using a media player like windows media player, itunes or songbird and then you can usually select sync from the menu or tabs to send the file to the media player. Or the other way is to drag the ripped mp3 files to the mp3 player in windows explorer as the mp3 player will show up as a hard drive/removable device.

Coby MP-C582 MP3 player

make sure what your putting on is MP3 or unprotected WMA files. If the light is blinking, then it means its playing the song, if you hear nothing, the audio is not in the correct format.
