Simply pull the indicator module straight up out of its plastic holder. No screws are attached. With a thin flat screwdriver pry open the bottom off the module. Insert 2 AAA batteries. Reassemble.
I own this particular Old Fashioned bike -lol - its a hardy one thou and I dont think you can find the original book but the book that came with it came from the company Roadmaster Corp. which is now named Roadmaster Industries, Inc - 250 Spring Street NW - Atlanta, Georgia 30303 -- phone number -- (404) 586-9000.
