Crazy phone my phone will still work but my screen wont it will go completely black

it sounds like the touch screen the clear glass is faulty you should order a new one that should solve your problem

That screen you're seeing is the battery power level; if it's all black your battery is almost completely discharged. Connect your charger and let it sit over night and try it the next day. If you still get the same screen after that your battery is probably shot and needs replacement.

I solved this problem few times by completely opening my HTC Desire Z mobile phone and then reassembling it. Third time, I noticed that the problem is due to looseness of two, out of three, tiny screws at the "camera" button of the mobile set. Therefore, mobile set was not properly pressed and sealed at the "Camera" button and due to some protection by HTC, screen went black. Now I have used new relatively long tiny screws and the problem is solved permanently.

My phone just started this after 10 months! It does the same thing it had black and white strips and i turn it on and i still have texts coming it but cant see anything and then sometimes you can actually see stuff but the screen is totally backwards.

hello there ..problem with your display IC i believe its a very old phone

you need to consult a local repair shop...they will probably say that screen needs to be changed but i would advice buying a new phone is always better than repairing ..some other problem will keep on emerging if you go for repairing....while you can buy a new phone that will save a lot of time ,money and energy
