MY KP501 SCREEN IS FROZEN ON LG SCREEN

my lg phone is stuck on weather screen and will not turn off.there is no response to any buttons or screen touch.

Sounds like you just need to align the screen. There should be a setting to align the screen. If you still have a users manual it should tell you on there how to align the screen.

Try taking out the front cover of your phone and take out the screen from your phone. Wipe the inner part of the phone and your screen.

take the battery out and leave it out for a few minutes put it back in if this keeps happining call att and get a replacement phone

My LG KU990 viewty screen has frozen....meaning...the touch screen doesn't respond when I press it.
I can answer the phone and only call numbers i've already.
Does anyone know how I can fix this

I've turned it off and left it off for some time, taken the sim card out, but this doesn't help. Does anyone have a solution?

I have the KP501, too. Well, as I know, there is no difference between KP500 and KP501...it's the same OS...My Cookie doesn't want to turn on. When I try to turn on the phone it shows just the LG logo, more not. A few seconds later it turns automatically off and than 3 seconds later it turns on again....I don't know how is this happening...searching for help!!! please help me.... :S

It sounds like corrupt software or a defective phone take it to an at&t store to be re-flashed or replaced under warranty

There might be a firmware issue, you might have to re-flash the software in it.

I know this sounds really simple but have you tried removing the battery for a few seconds, replacing it and then turning it back on? On occasion mine is unresponsive and that works for me.
