NSM named many of their models the same for many years, e.g. Prestige, Consul etc., though they use a different technology and so require a different manual. Please check always the ID plate for correct model type. Usually this can be found on the back of the jukebox.

To set up your NSM Lightning 2000 to play a full CD, you need to follow these steps:

1. Turn on the jukebox and select the CD mode.
2. Open the CD compartment and insert the CD you want to play.
3. Close the compartment and wait for the jukebox to read the CD.
4. Once the jukebox has read the CD, use the selection buttons to choose the track you want to play.

If the number 4 button on your jukebox is not registering, there may be an issue with the button itself or the wiring connected to it. You can try cleaning the button and the surrounding area to see if that helps. If that doesn't work, you may need to have the jukebox serviced by a professional technician.

This is a problem with the memory. Contact nsm music and ask for the IC5 battery, £35. " 2 minute job, open the jukebox, immiediatly in front of you on the main board, look for IC5, The battery is directly under the writing. A black battery about 2" in length. Replace that power up and your done. A jukebox repair will charge you some riddiculous price for this. hope this helps cheers dandares

I think you'll find there are no specific model manuals - the manuals are based on the technology used.

The tradition uses ES 5.1 technology so search on Ebay for an NSM ES V (or 5.1) manual.

go to ebay, do a find for "nsm jukebox manual"...there's someone there who is selling a cd that contains the master service manual for about $25.00, including freight.

error 61 on the nsm is a cd read error nothing to do with the amp, clean laser lens with a cotton bud and spit not spirits etc just saliva, then make a blank selection and see if the laser emits red beam, if not then the laser is faulty, check connections etc, if it picks up the disc but does not spin it its the decoder at fault, places like act marketing london, jukebox showroom, capital coin, herondata sales or anyone operator within the amusement industry will gladly sell you an exchange unit, or just try the coinslot industy magazine online or order via wh smiths
