The AC unit outdoors must be running and rejecting heat by its air flowing through it the 2 copper lines are the refrigerant lines, the fatter one should be "beer can cold" if not its low on refrigerant or not running.

Ice is an indication that the refrigerant is not flashing off correctly in the evaporator coil. In most cases you can simply turn the unit off (until it completely thaws inside and out) and replace the filter. Make sure that all the vents in the house are open as well. If this does not work then you will need a technician to come out and check the refrigerant levels in the system. Ice can indicate that the refrigerant is low. I hope this helps.

If the compressor is running, you have a freon problem. If the compressor is not running, you have an electrical problem, unless the compressor itself is bad.

sounds like the unit is low on freon. it will need to be serviced so the leak can be fixed then recharged.

bad blower motor. recommend a new blower motor and capacitor.

Your furnace never blows hot air? That must be hard in the winter. Mine used to work fine, but when I came home from vacation two days ago, it was blowing cold air. I think I'm going to hire a professional who specializes in heating systems to see if they can fix the problem. Maybe you should too. http://www.hightechheatingandac.com/heat...
