Asko 1503 error code

My asko dishwasher is giving the error code for "opened during wash cycle" and will not start. Keeps showing the error code. Is there a reset for this? The error displayed is three rows of dash lines.

Thank you

The sound is the drain Pump I believe ,it turns on to make sure the unit is clear of problem so it can re cycle and start again.

The "F7" code means that the drain is blocked. To remove items from the drain: 1.Turn power to unit off. 2. Remove the "Coarse Filter" by squeezing the tabs together and lifting out. 3. Remove the "Fine Filter" and "Main Filter" by removing the screws around the filters and lifting them out. 4.Remove the small black adapter piece and check the sump area for debris. 5.Wash the filters out gently with hot, soapy water. DO NOT RUN THE UNIT WITHOUT THE FILTERS IN PLACE! 6.Replace the black adapter piece to its original position FIRST (Important!). 7.Replace the filters in reverse order of removal and turn the unit back on. The error code should reset and work normally. *In areas with hard-water, the filters should be removed every 8-12 months and submerged in a chemical solution (CLR or LimeAway) to remove mineral deposits. Hope this helps...

I had to slide the dishwasher forward (undercounter installation)and tip it forward as far as possible. Water leaks onto floor, but then the internal controller seems to reset and the ASKO now works normally again. What kind of idiot would design a control module that does not incorporate a power-off interlock? FAIL FAIL FAIL - Bad, ASKO, Bad. Go to your room.

I also had this problem. Support person couldn't tell me if the pump was supposed to run even when setting the control knob to 'off' (bar before (1)). After draining the pan, the control knob functioned normally. So apparently any power to the unit will run the pump when the overflow pan is filled, no matter the position of the knob.

I think I see the problem based on "futureloginn"'s highly rated solution. You have a dishwasher. You need to stop washing clothes in it.

Is my asko d1776 repairable. It's currently not going into wash mode. The Blade are not turning and washing.

The motor is not getting switched on at the proper time. The timer / cycle selector is the problem and is easily repairable.

We have an asko 3530 dishwasher that is 4 to 5 years old now and when we run any wash cycle some time during the cycle we get an error that that says water inlet fault. Is there a filter or something we...

Some do have a screen but most don't. It could be possible that your feed line may be kinked? There is also the valve at the water inlet that could possibly going bad as well. Hope this helps.

ASKO 1605

Hi Guys
My dishwasher this morning has desided to not work correctly.
Its a ASKO 1302 about 20 years old. It has been a very good machine.
Over the last couple of weeks during the washing cycle, the dishwasher has been making a loader noise than usual.
1. Today, the dishwasher timer, travels all the way through its cycle, but very little washing take place.
2. Soap power is still there, plates not clean!!!!
3. Water is hot
4. At the end of the cycle, there is no water in the dishwasher.
5. I'm thinking the problem could be the pump needs replacing.
What do you think?
