SETTING MY WATCH

I RECEIVED, FROM A CO-WORKER A PURITAN "GOLF" WATCH.
V360, WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO SET IT, OR ANYTHING.
IT HAS A NORMAL FACE ON THE RIGHT SIDE THAT IS EASY TO SET, BUT HOW DO I SET ALL THE OTHER FUNCTIONS AND WHAT ARE THE OTHER FUNCTIONS. IS THERE A GUIDE AVAILABLE ?
IT KEEPS GOING OFF, AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. IT IS DRIVING MY WIFE AND KIDS, ( AND CO-WORKERS) CRAZY.
CAN YOU HELP ME FIND SOME INSTRUCTIONS ? i AM IN DIRE STRAITS HERE. IT IS A FUN , HEAVY DUTY WATCH, AND I WOULD AT LEAST LIKE TO GET IT WORKING PROPERLY.

in answer to your request for more information, here it is,

    it is named Puritan the numbers on the back reads;
V360 then next to it it looks like a lightening bolt then it reads 377
    japan movt puru6936 stainless
it has a regular clock face on the right side with the day of the month in digital form
on the left it has an alarm/chronograph and below that is something that looks like a sundial with the days of the week that go around in a circle. Monday keeps flashing.
it has a stopwatch function also.
I know that it is probably a "cheapy" watch, but I cant wear a "regular" watch, so i either use a pocketwatch or a "golf watch"
I can try to send a picture of it if you need me too. i can try to figure out how to do that. Buy I'm and old man, and i am reading the numbers through a magnifying glass. Please help me if you can. I could really use the help. I have no watches to use right now, and I have to rely on someone else to tell me the time when i am out and about. If you could pleasse help me, I would be extremely greatfull for any help. Really greatful !!!

Did you ever find instructions for this watch? We had the same problem with it always going off, but somehow we got it to stop. And then I stuck it in a drawer. Now, I have found it again and would like to use it, but I can't seem to set anything other than the time. =/

SOURCE: Setting date and time

I don't know how much significance this post would make to any now, but I was playing with the watch trying to figure out how to set the time and I have figured it out...

1. Hold the "Adjust" button until where it displays the day of the week starts blinking (This will display the major airport in your area to determine your time zone, mine is "LAX"...to change this, while it is still blinging press either "Time Memo" or "Recieve" to move up or down)

2. Press "Adjust" again so you see "12H" (I guess meaning 12 hour intervals)

3. Press "Mode" (at this point your seconds will start blinking) to change these, againg press "Time Memo" or "Recieve" to move up or down. (usually I skip past the seconds)

4. Repeat step 3 to do your hours, minutes, year, then the date...(order is as follows)

5. When you are done press "Adjust" then everything will stop blinking, and you are done

This is as much as I figured out and I hope this is helpful to anyone that needs it...

How do you set a popart pop-693ad watch

Ok, it took awhile to remember, but to reset the analog time or the day or anything else, first push the "mode" button which is at the 8:00 position on the side of the watch, 3 times. The first push will bring up the stopwatch, the 2nd push will change the alarm time, the 3rd push will highlight the seconds which on the watch face is at the 6:00 position. Release after the 3rd push and push the "reset" button which is located at the 4:00 position. It will start flashing the hour first. If that is what you need to change, then push the "start" button which is at the 2:00 position. Either keep pushing the start button to set the hour or hold the button in if you have more than a couple of hours to change. When that is done, if you need to change the minutes, push the "reset" button again and the minutes should be highlighted and do the same thing with the "start" button until you have the minutes set where you want. When you are done changing whichever thing needs to be set, including the alarm time, push the "mode" button and everything will stay set. This is for the Pop Art 693 AD watch which if you buy through ebay, it's an awesome watch with dual analog/digital time displays, etc. it comes with no instructions. If all else fails, go to the jewelry counter at a Walmart and hopefully the worker there can help. We found that once with a different watch. I hope this helps everyone!!

How do I set my watch?

This depends if you want to use the autoreceive mode or not. If you're within an area that you can pick up the signal, it should set itself automatically at 3AM, 4AM and 5AM. You can force it to try and calibrate to the broadcast signal by holding down the receive button while in the "normal" time mode. For best results, put it near a window that faces Colorado (assuming you're in the states) with the top of the watch facing the window.

To turn on or off the autoreceive mode:
From the time mode, hold down the Adjust button until the watch beeps and your time zone is flashing at the bottom. Press the Mode button twice so [ON/OFF] Auto is flashing. Press Receive to toggle the mode, then press Adjust twice to set.

If, for whatever reason, you're unable or don't want to use autoset, to manually set:
From the time mode, hold down the Adjust button until the watch beeps and your time zone is flashing at the bottom. Press the Adjust button again and 12H/24H will be flashing at the bottom. Press mode again and seconds will be flashing. Mode once more and the hours will be flashing. Use Time Memo/Receive to set it to what you want. Press mode again and minutes flash. Again, use Time Memo/Receive to set it to what you want. Repeat for year, month & day. Press Adjust to finish chaning the time.

you will need
blue tack

pin hammer
pliers.

Roll up the blue tack push onto flat surface , push the barcelet side on into the blue tack wthe arrows pointing downward.
insert the punch into the hole and tap with hammer.
do this until you have removed enough links then push a pin back into the bracelet and tap home withthe hammer.

I don't know how to enable the Golf Scoring Mode.

This is out of memory so bare with me. Push and hold the "set" button as if you were going to set the time. Now continue to push the "mode" button that moves from hours, minutes, date, beep setting, alarm setting, etc. Eventually you will come to the Golf setting which will ask whether or not you want to display it. Select yes, push the "set" button again, scroll through, and voila.
