Sorry, it posted before I was done. I am not sure if you are familiar with metal polishing precious metals, but it's similar. Of course it all depends on the depth of the scratches. Google cerium oxide and glass polishing ..
Once you have cerium oxide, you will find numerous applications.. It is my understanding that this is what pros use to polish glass on vehicles and anything made of glass. I used it on my iPhones and glass tables with success. Also used jewelers rogue then cerium for deeper scratches.

Yes it is! Iphone 5 beats Samsung Galaxy in a drop test. The screen doesn't crack easily (while the aluminum back is scratched easily). And it seems that iPhone 5 can be repaired more easily that iPhone4.
