I deleted Corel Pro Paint Program from my pc. Now, every time I open my pc, it says that its configuring to install WordPerfect Office 12. It finally says that I need to insert a disc with the Program. I have to keep closing the program that says it is trying to install it. After 6-8 times, it quits. I get error message 1706. I contacted Corel but got no help.
It may be in your programs that you need to uninstall WordPerfect Office 12. It just seems like something is partially installed and wants to complete.
Deleting a program rather than uninstalling it leaves the program in an unpredictable state.
Use the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features (depending on your Windows version) to uninstall the program and see whether that solves it.
Failing that, you may have to go into the directory the program was installed in and delete all traces there and in all other directories on the program drive - Programs, Users etc.
The other option is to restore the program from the Recycle bin, then uninstall it.
And last option I can think of is re-install then uninstall.
Good luck.

I will try this. I do have WordPerfect and can use it.

That's exactly the same problem I have now when I start up my PC.
