Screen does not work

After i begin watching a dvd for about 15 minutes, my screen has a really weird pattern appears on my screen and only audio works

  • Anonymous May 11, 2010

does the whole screen change or just the video stream.

you may have a currupt video driver, a currupt video decoder, a damaged video card. or if it is an onboard video card you may have damaged ram.

Please confirm your video adator, the appliaction your are using to play the video, the type of video eg divX or MP4 or DVD.

also run a memtest. a free CD ISO is avaliavle from here
    http://www.memtest86.com/

this will boot your computer into a test enviroment and requires to be run for a at least 4 hours to thoughly test your system.
    I reccomend over night.

Why is my Samsung RF26XAERS refrigerator repetitively chiming, and how can I fix it?

NOISE? from the fridge inside? or from the outside compressor? In overstressed compressor or low freon level will make weird noises? a bad fan in freezer will? Even seen bad ice makers make weird noises? if the ice making is hindered by obstructions?

After the dvd plays for like 10-15 minutes(when dvd player warms up?) all the colors on the screen turn to black, yellow and purple for the rest of the movie. What's wrong?

I gotta know more clearly about your question, i am going to explain in 'Guide Solutions'
Guide 1: Is it the color just cover the main grid? (Color cover like blocking the others, such as watching 70s TV shows, the colors blocked in black and white.)
Source 1: Audio input problems, your dvd audio input linked with three different 'rops', they are appeared to be push by pressure.
Solution 1: Determine more spaces to them!
Guide 2: Is it the color cover the photon grid? (Color cover at all pictures, each of them doesn't stand the other colors instead of replaced by unique color)
Source 2: Undefined
Solution 2: The TV setting menu seems to b set by specific colors, change it on your own using remote. OR this is a specific part that the DVD need to show the color in unique color (only one)
(No problems, keep watching)!

Picture looks concave ,mostly yellow, and double vision on words

Remove unshielded speakers or other metallic objects near the TV. It can cause picture distortion.
  1. Tune the TV to channel or cable program.
  2. Run the TV for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Press FLASH FOCUS on the front panel of the TV.
  4. A cross pattern appears and FLASH FOCUS begins to
work. The adjustment is completed when the cross pattern becomes white and you are returned to the program you were watching.
You cannot perform any other functions until FLASH FOCUS has
completed its cycle. If you perform any other operation while FLASH FOCUS is in progress, FLASH FOCUS operation is canceled.

Failed to record

Need to connect both the 3-prong AV adapter *and* the firewire cord. The firewire connect alone does not work, and the 3-prong AV cord alone does not work. But connect both cords to the two devices, and it seems to work. 15 minutes and counting... Hope this helps someone.
