I had this problem as well. Actually best buy just left my hosue to fix it. This is the second time they were here to fix it. The first time they said a part was loose. This time they had to replace a part.

This television, appears to have had a failure in the mainboard. This is the board that controls the video functions and sound functions. The unit should be taken or sent in to a service center for testing and servicing. The service center will have all the correct service information to determine the problem for you. It will either slide out from the front/back or to the side..Some actually bolt on from the bottom using screws/bolts.And then again some are not meant to be taken off.Make sure it is a wall mountable tv.Then try to take the stand off as directed.

the pic attached is an electrolytic capacitor, they come in different sizes and are usually blue, black and sometimes yellow. depending on manufacture.
most of the problems I have heard of tvs having problems with the
electrolytic capacitors going bad. if you open the tv and see one of
those swollen or leaking you need to replace them.
