Go to Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag number, then select your operating system. Under Network, download and install the latest drivers.
Try these tweaks.... Start, control panel, device manager. Click on Network and then right click on your wireless adapter, left click properties, power management. Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power. Go to the power options, and changed the Wireless Adapter Setting, from Maximum Power Setting to Maximum Performance.
Hello,
Is this your first router or you are replacing an existing one with this? If you had a router setup before don't name the wireless network the exact same as your old one unless you go into your wireless properties on all your wireless machines and delete saved profiles.
What kind of security are you using on the wifi? wep, wpa wpa2? If you are using wpa2 and have not updated all your computers to the latest service packs for windows you can have some issues as well. Some routers don't work well with ps3's, try setting the router security to wep and make a ten digit password.
Also the Dell XPS M1530's are known for bad performing wireless cards. You may be able to obtain an updated bios firmware from Dell's website to help fix this though i'm sure it's not the cause of why you can't connect to this router.
See if this helps, if not respond and I will give some more tips.

go to device manager , click on networks
uninstall the wireless network card , go to support.dell.com
update the latest wireless drivers for your wan card , restart the system it will start working
1) double click on the wireless network icon on the status bar 2) click on View wireless network 3) click on change advance settings 4) go to wireless networks 5) under the preferred networks, remove the SSID 6) try to connect again
Refresh the network list from WZC and check if the network exists. Check the signal strength from the utility. check for any interference. Try using a different channel . As a last step try upgrading the drivers.
